Where are scorpions most commonly found in the US?

They are native Arizona, California and New Mexico but the numbers have increased greatly in the Las Vegas area.

How large is an adult scorpion?

Scorpions can be anywhere from 1”-3” long.

How do I know if I have an infestation?

The easiest way to discover an infestation is by using a black light in the dark because the skeletons of scorpions will glow. 
Scorpion stings can cause painful and sometimes fatal effects. The most common of these effects include severe pain, convulsions, drooling, sweating, rapid breathing, high blood pressure, increased heart rate, muscle twitching and weakness.
